LONDON (Greenwich Park, 9.30am Start)

We are delighted to be able to stage the opening event of the inaugural Norwich Union City v City 10K at London's Greenwich Park, commencing at 9.30am. Renowned as one of London's oldest and most beautiful parks, it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its architectural, scientific, maritime and royal associations. It is also the home of the world's Prime Meridian - Longitude 0° - and of course of Greenwich Mean Time.

The City v City 10K Greenwich Park course will be comprised of two different laps each covering a distance of 5K. The first 5k lap takes the competitors along the roads and footpaths that wind around the picturesque park, bringing the runner almost back to the start/finish area before heading out once again for the second 5K loop. Runners should note that the Greenwich Park Course is undulating in parts.
